The Kiowa county Museum in Hobart Oklahoma

This is just a small part of
the exhibits on display, most of them have tall tales that
go with them, some are true! If they could talk they would
tell you how they helped built Southwest Oklahoma, these are
the tools that made Kiowa county what it is today.
I will try to find some of
the stories that go with some of the items that are placed
in the care of the Museum and share them with you. Check us
out often, I plan to add to this section of my homepage and
just maybe some will find something that will spark
memories in the people that went through the early building
years of our country and help the younger people see what it
was like.
The Kiowa County Museum is in
Hobart, OK
the 500 blk. of South Main.
Look for the the big silver
tanks, the Museum is just north of Hobart Seed and across
from Farmers Co-op Farm Supply Store
